Frustration is Rampant today!

So the plan has been revised many times today due to so many frustrating factors. I will admit I was happy to at least get a nap in this morning when I really needed one. Raven has been frustrated for different reasons, most of them relating to GenCon and hotel rooms, but it looks like we are not going to go swimming tonight. Gaming is also out of the question due to Hubby doing snow removal tonight. My lack of a vehicle has also contributed to the frustration levels since if I was to go anywhere tonight I would also have to drag the kids along and Hubby just drove off with the carseats in the truck. Sigh, this is not a day for happiness.

Still Smiles has been fairly good today, clingy but thats to be expected of her right now. Bear has been alright and almost on the verge of being punished alot but never quite pushing himself over the limit. The biggest problem with him right now is that he still sucks his fingers. I mean he just turned seven and still sucks his fingers. Which drives me nuts because he is destroying his palate and I can not figure out a way to make him stop! The best I can do is tell him to cuddle one of his stuffies if he feels like needing to suck his fingers which he then promptly ignores. AAAArrrrrgggghhhh!

I would appreciate any suggestions anyone might have on what to do for this problem. I can't punish him really, though I admit to putting tabasco sauce on his fingers to try to get him to stop. Alas bribing him won't help he'll just get the reward and then still suck his fingers afterwards.(This apparently worked on my husband when he was a child). And positive redirection has not been working either. So any ideas, any at all I would love to hear some. Please!
