Jesus and the Easter Bunny

So Easter was fun for us this year. We had my parents over for supper on Saturday. ubby made a good lamb with saffron rice and cauliflowers. Then on Sunday the kids woke up and immediately found one of the clues the Easter bunny had left. Oops I didn't hide that one well enough. I usually do a scavenger hunt where the kids find clues from the Easter bunny and eventually get to the big pile of chocolate that he has left behind. I do this to avoid leftover eggs that I really do not want to be finding month or two from now.

After the hunt we all went to church where the kids were very well behaved and only bugged us to leave halfway through the service instead of 15 mins in. Otherwise they were really good and I think once I began explaining things to Smiles she was a little more tolerant. Bear broke one of the pews. They have little pockets on the back of the pews to hold service books and things (most churches nowadays have these) and as he was playing with his toy, the holder came off. Oops! I think it was actually broken before but Bear rediscovered it. It looks like the glue that held the wooden pocket in place had come off.

Once Church was done we then went to Nana's and Granddad's for Brunch. Which was a wonderful Eggs Benedict with Salmon for me. MmmmMmmmm. There the kids got more chocolate from Nana and then we came home where I promptly took a nap. So all in all I would say Thank you God for the wonderful Easter this year.
