So after a good productive evening at Raven's sewing cloaks (in my case just cutting) I came home expecting to find my husband still on the computer. I expected to be able to tell him that the cloak I had promised him was finally all cut out and that I would be able to start sewing it on Thursday. I expected the kids in to be in bed and that after talking with Hubby I would go to bed shortly thereafter.
I was not expecting to walk in the door to find my son saying, "Mommy, my stomach doesn't feel too well" and then proceeding to the bathroom and throwing up. I was not expecting having to comfort my sick child and get him set up on the couch, which is way easier to get off of than a bunk bed, and to have to administer Children's Gravol. We have had that bottle for awhile and this is the first time I have had to open. The plastic safety wrap was still on it. So currently I am blogging to keep myself awake and able to listen for more signs of puking from the living room. Bear said "Yes Mommy, you have a poor sick son!" Awwww! I think he's asleep now but I will check on him in a bit.
Oh and one I recommend you do not do when you have bad gag reflexes.
Do not brush your teeth while a child is puking into the toilet next to you.
