So I have just come home, once again after midnight, from cloaking at Raven's. To tell you the truth it feels good. Mostly because I was able to get about half way done on a blue wool, blue sateen twill cloak. AND I only made one mistake which won't take long to fix at all the next time I am at Raven's to sew. Tomorrow night I hope, fingers crossed, truly hope that Ladies of Hack will transpire instead of being waylaid by Killer Bunnies or something. I suppose if I am disappointed I could disappear into the basement and cloak some more. I did do that once. Generally though if its Killer Bunnies or another fun game I won't mind playing that. BUT I still want to do Ladies of Hack!!! So all you Ladies please support us and come play. Please! Please! Pretty Please with a cherry on top! Of course I would have to go buy the cherries but I think it would worth it. Hmm, the things you can do with cherries.....
Oops, sorry got distracted there. Ahem! Ok, Smiles has been really cute and awfully possessive of the new fuzzy purple dress I made her today. So much so that I did not have time to finish hemming the edges. I have figured out what I need to do is finish the other dress and then tell her I need to put roses on the first one. I would have to because otherwise she doesn't know which side is the front or back. haha. Not that I blame her panne velour dresses do tend to be tricky that way.
Anyways here are my positive reinforncements for the day and I will see or talk to people tomorrow :)
1. I cloaked and made a dress.
2. I cooked supper in under a half hour!
3. I cuddled and made Smiles laugh several times today.
4. I did some housework (dishes mainly).
5. I helped Bear with his reading homework. I am really happy with his reading. It is coming along very nicely.
