Playdate with Little S

Many good things to update, despite my turning crankier lately.

Thursday I went to Raven's and we went swimming before going to BP's. Where we ended up riding in a friend's hybrid car. I want one. It was very nice and very fuel efficient. Still it was a nice night out and this time we did not stay out nearly as late as the previous week. Yay! Which meant I got home at a decent hour. I didn't sleep til later but I was home at a decent hour. That's what counts Right! Right?

Friday I once again went to Raven's except this time I got to chat with the Crazy Lady of the Woods who was babysitting for Raven who was getting a haircut. (A four hour haircut-probably because of the hair dyeing- but still a haircut). Anyways we got to talk shop in regards to our sewing projects. I gave her some cloth that I thought she could use because I have so much and don't really have any use for this particular piece. I may be getting a shift from her but I would have to see if the colour would suit me. I am a little leery of orange and much prefer the darker reds or blues and greens. I am not an Autumn person. Fox on the other hand is who had come over just as I was finishing up the rust and white cloak that I had made. He was oohing and aahing over the fabulous colour scene. The trim makes it look awesome. I am quite happy with that cloak. I still need a clasp on it and have to rip stitch out one small error, but otherwise it is done. I have to laugh because normally I am used to running out of bobbin thread. This time it was the top thread. I wasn't paying attention, hehe.

Today I am currently hosting Little S while Star runs the Birthday Quest for her older sister Song (I like that pseudonym for her) otherwise known as Bug. They have been playing really nicely together and there has only been one small incident so far. Little H came over for a little while and Little S did not want to share her beads with her. The beads were put away. So Little H went home and now Smiles and Little S are playing with some of Smiles toys. I have been playing tag with Hubby about child supervision and its been nice since I have finally got to sit down at the computer. But supper is calling to be made soon and so I'll wrap things up.

1. Housework.
2. Hosted Little S for a playdate.
3. Weeded one of the flowers beds. The one in the back that has my tomato plants in it.
4. Had fruit for snack. Pears to be exact!
5. Played with girls outside.
