Someone's having a case of the Monday's

Some complaining involved and maybe details that some people might not want to read.

I had watched office space on Friday and that quote caught me full up today. First of all to start my list of complaints I did not sleep well last night despite having gone to bed earlyish. (It was just shortly after midnight). I then proceeded to have stomach pains for the next two hours and spent most of that in the bathroom. Then after finally falling asleep I was woken up a mere four hours later by my son panicking because we had not gotten his swim stuff ready for school today. I looked at my clock and it was a full hour before my alarm was to go off. (Anyone who knows me knows I detest being woken up before my alarm rings). Then my husband had an argument with his boss about work 15 minutes later (note my alarm still has not go off yet) and I am involved because a month ago I had scheduled a doctor's appointment for this morning. At this point I gave in and got up. So I told Hubby I would just take a cab and proceeded to order one to pick me up 15 mins before my appointment.

I then took a shower, made sure the kids were clothed, fed and ready to go and Hubby had left for work. After I got out of the shower and was eating breakfast Hubby phoned and tole me to cancel the cab. He would have time to pick me up and drop Bear off at school and then me at the doctor's before he had to go to his next job site. So I did. I finished eating and we all left. My stomach still bothering me. As Hubby was dropping me off at the doctor's I tripped and scraped my knee on the sidewalk. There is construction going on around the building and I stepped off of an uneven part. Ouch! So in the doctor's office I had to ask for a bandaid to stop the bleeding. Sigh. Smiles was fairly well behaved but bored because unlike my general practitioner this office did not have many toys for her to play with. I ended reading some books to her.

On the way home she liked the ride on the bus but was getting cold from the long wait. Again she was bored and despite her coat the wind was very cold. She was amazed that the bus knew where our house was. I had to laugh at that. I did end up being able to get a nap in and Smiles was kind enough to make herself a sandwich for lunch so Mommy could sleep a little longer. Alas I had to get up and walk her to Little H's house where she played happily for the rest of the afternoon. I ended up trying to motivate myself into doing housework. Alas this is where the "Someone's having a case of the Monday's" kicks in. The dishes are still sitting by the sink. Sigh. And supper will need to be made edible soon. I wasted an hour on the computer trying to post something on a forum that kept saying I had already posted. Grr. Especially when I then would check and nothing had appeared yet. Oh, I did receive what I had been waiting for in the mail. Raven will understand. It's a small bubble envelope that contains tokens for a game at Gencon. I might even have something to trade to her?! Hmmm HMMMM!

Anyways the last thing on my list of complaints for today is that Hubby just called and his Case of the Monday's will last longer than mine. He will be stuck at work till late tonight, due to the boss being inconsistent. But Hubby will do as he's told and will most likely be yelled at again tomorrow for having done exactly what he had been told to do today. Okay it's not my job no more griping about it.

I hope other's have had a better Monday cause I just needed to vent!
