1. I did the dishes again after supper.
2. I hosted Little H so Smiles and her could play.
3. I compromised with Bear over his computer time.
4. I took out a few things like the fans out to the garage.
5. I went through all the boxes that had been in my closet and placed them in storage (above my closet which is where they were supposed to go in the first place)
Yeah, I had been meaning to do that since we moved in November last year and after Christmas had just gone blah! and lost all my energy and motivation to continue unpacking. So now it is done and some of the books (or tubs of books) that Hubby cannot stand to see taken out to the garage will have a home underneath his clothes. My side still has some boxes that I was not willing to put above me. Like the one that had pictures in it. Which meant that I did not get as much done in the living as I had hoped but I still have one more day to go to clean out the clutter from there. And to tell you the truth it should not take me long at all. What will take me awhile is removing all the books from the bookshelves so they can be moved out of the nursery.
So the compromise I have made with Bear is that he will willingly go without his computer for a day in order to double it the next. You see I usually allow the kids 5 mins per year of their age and with Bear being 7 it means he gets 35 mins a day. Smiles only gets 20 mins but quite frankly the computer does not fascinate her like it does Bear and she will go for days without asking for her computer time. Which is fine by me. I would rather she go outside and play anyways. The reason why I compromised with bear on his computer time was because he did not have enough time to finish a game he was playing today and got frustrated and started crying. It is a hard one and requires alot of skill and coordination. He is getting better at it but still wants to continue after the timer has gone off. So in order to avoid punishing him for running out of time I figured I would try to give him the extra time he wants. Hence the compromise.
So yeah things have been progressing and the next step is to move large pieces of furniture around tomorrow. Which I have clearly stated that I will not do! I should not have gone up on the chair to put things in the storage above the closet but Hubby doesn't organize things like I want to so I just did it. He was very crabby and grouchy today when he got home. At least he got the banker boxes out from the crawl space as I had asked him. After yelling at me to stop nagging him of course. Now if only I can convince him to actually clean the cat litter box and the floor underneath it. One of the cats is sick and has decided she doesn't like the litter box. Instead she has been using the laundry baskets. Arrrrghhh!@ So I now have a tub full of laundry soaking in vinegar hoping to get the smell out. I would rather not have to throw away some of my good t-shirts. Alas unless I catch it when its still wet the smell does not want to come out. I am starting to think that she doesn't like the covered cat litter box and that is why she is going outside and around the box and in the laundry. It is unfortunate that she picked up this habit when we lived with the vacuum brothers. One in particular never cleaned his room and if he left the door open she would go where the previous cat had been. Usually in his laundry. Now she's doing it in ours and I am getting really frustrated. Especially since Hubby doesn't see this as his problem. I am starting to think I should just leave his clothes lying around and see how well he likes the smell. Oh wait he already does leave his clothes lying around, all over our bedroom floor. Maybe I should put them in a laundry basket for her then. Ok that was incredibly bitchy and it means I should go to bed and get some sleep.

Try using Gal Friday on your soiled laundry. I use it to get the oil smell off of my massage sheets and it works great. It might help with your problem.
