Ruminations on the past week.

1. I have done dishes consistently after supper for the past 5 nights in a row. Yeah a record for me!
2. I took the kids on a short bike ride.
3. I took the training wheels off of Bear's bike.
4. I weeded the vegetable patch. Haha. That's the only way to actually describe it I suppose.
5. I gathered more ripening tomatoes. yum!

This past week has been full of ups and downs. Thankfully I think I am going on to an upswing again. Yesterday was a bad bad day. We'll leave it at that. I also gave Smiles a braid in her hair after her bath tonight. She wasn't really dirty but I couldn't see a reason why to deny her. After all getting clean is fun. Especially when its a bubble bath. Now just trying to make them(Smiles and Bear) think cleaning up their toys can be fun too. Sigh! I may not ever win that challenge.

Also I have heard that True Dungeon was a really good run this year at Gencon. I am so jealous and a little sad that I was not able to go this year. Alas circumstances intervened and I was stuck at home gestating. Still we have a few more activities planned before summer ends for the kids. Though I must admit I am SO looking forward to them being in school. Both of them. I will have a few months before my life is interrupted and I will have a screaming person to take up whatever spare time I could possibly have had. So before then I am going to enjoy whatever time to myself that I can!
