1. I got the lists I needed for school supplies. Which meant a walk to the school.
2. I let the kids play at the playground (after getting the lists)
3. I finished the sorbet that Hubby started yesterday and gave it to the kids for dessert.
4. I did dishes again tonight!
5. I put money under the pillow to Bear from the tooth fairy.
We were eating supper and the next thing I know I look over at him and his tongue is pushing out a bloody tooth. I didn't think tacos (ok soft burritos) were especially hard, but whatever it takes! Now he has two matching gaps on the bottom of his jaw. One on either side of his two front teeth. Smiles being only four wants her teeth to start coming out but alas she will have to wait a few years still.
So Bear (the little stinker) got me good today. Just before supper I sent the two outside to play so I could have some time to actually make supper. Smiles had come in and was holding a half ripe tomato which I praised her for. After all it when the tomatoes are yellow or orange that is when you can pick them and let them ripen on your counter. So Bear a few minutes later says he found a tomato too. I go to the door and ask him what colour it is? He says red! Which means you need to pick it now so it can be used quickly. So I tell him he definitely needs to pick it. He reaches into the branches and pulls out his small red bouncy ball! That was a good laugh by us all. What a stinker!
I was going to go out today and visit Raven after her Gencon adventure but thought I would phone her first to see if she wanted company. Only I discovered from Blankshield that it was getting home from Gencon that was more of an adventure. You see when I called in the middle of the afternoon Raven had still not gotten back yet. Oh my! Seeing as how she had said that she expected everyone to be home late Monday something interesting must have happened. Or at the very least the airlines changed their flights on them. So when Raven got home and called me back I was okay with letting her veg and relax. She sounded like she was going to need it. Which means I might not see her at all this week due to Hubby claiming Thursday night for himself and this weekend the kids and I are going to the farm. Sigh! I guess I will just have to wait to hear all about the cool things that happened at Gencon.
