Pregnancy Whining

So I decided that I haven't complained about being pregnant in awhile so here's an update. Oh and you have been warned this may turn messy!

Let's see first thing - Hip Dislocation!
Ugh! Can that ever be painful. You are standing around trying to wash your hands and the next thing you know your grabbing the sink. As your soapy hands slip on the basin you are wondering where your leg disappeared to?! If your lucky you catch yourself before you drop into the bathtub and brain yourself on the faucet.

Second thing - Leaks! This will be messy and not pleasant for some. WARNING!!!
Not only do you need to go to the bathroom more often you end up leaking smelly fluids that require the feminine napkins before the actual birth. Afterwards its to help with the tears leaking blood from the baby's passage. Then to top it all off you sometimes actually lose bladder control and its mere meters from a bathroom. I can't tell you how frustrating this is some days. Thankfully most of these accidents have been on the way home from picking kids up from school and not on the way there!

Third thing - Swollen Feet!
This is normal for most people and in my case I just happen to have had it the entire pregnancy through. Alas now that the due date is, oh, 3 days away my feet have been puffballing on a more regalur basis. Especially in the evening but that is mostly due to me not doing anything but watching TV or playing on the computer.

Fourth thing - I hate being SICK!!!!
This has nothing to due with being pregnant so much as I just hate being sniffly, whiny and miserable. And this has been going on for the past week and half now! Of course I could take something for this cold but will it be good for the baby? That's the crux and so I have suffered and been miserable for the last week and a half. It's particularly frustrating in the morning or just after naps because thats when the sinus' clog up again and if I am unlucky a wicked headache accompanies them.

Fifth thing - Contractions.
Or false contractions to be specific. Whenever I walk or drive that wave of pain rolls through my stomach muscles and I just grit my teeth and bear it. Then in the evening they start again and then stop, going nowhere. It's very frustrating because at this point you just want it over and done with! Alas I am expecting them to last for about two weeks because that's about the time they lasted before Bear and Smiles were born.

Sixth thing - Just General Uncomfortableness!
This is where I lump getting out of bed every hour to 2 hours every night. Not being able to turn over to the other side when your sleeping and for someone who can't sleep on her back this is a real chore. Oh and the drool from snoring all night. I so need to change my pillowcase! Then there's the pelvic exercises and keigels and the pills which sometimes make me gag. Oh and worst of all acid reflex! This time I am sure it is acid reflex and not low stomach acid. The only thing that helps is ginger ale and sleeping on my right side. My father pointed out that your stomach empties on your right so if you lie on it while sleeping the digestion process still continues. Where as if you sleep on the left it stays in the stomach and tries to come back up the esophagus. I don't know if this is true or not but you know IT Works! and I am not going to stop doing it!

So there you go a detailed explanation of my current pregnant state and its woes! Have fun and remember babies are so CUTE! Otherwise we would never have them!
