Warmer weather has arrived and the kids are spending more and more time outside. Hurray! Also I have even taken the baby out to play outside almost everyday now. She loves going in the stroller to go and drop off or pick up the kids from school. She gets so excited when she sees the stroller come out. One really cute thing that my mother pointed out is that instead of saying "NO" which is the usual with toddlers her word is "Yeah". If I ask her a question and point to something she'll either say "Yeah" or shake her head no. It is really cute. Also she has started to wave bye-bye to Daddy when he goes out to work in the morning.
As for the bogcoat that I made last week I did manage to get to Raven's so that she could photograph it but who knows when she'll get around to posting it on her blog. Other than that she seemed to think it was an interesting pattern but as she put it... it is definitely not a medieval pattern. Oh well so what - some of our patterns are medieval and others are definitely not. This one falls into the latter category. We make cloaks and coats for warmth and durability at quests. Not necessarily for authenticity. I am thinking of making a slogan of we sell cloaks for those who haven't gotten around to making their own yet but I think that could sound very haughty.
There were others things that I wanted to talk about like the cabinet doors are now in place and I like them. They give a nice colour to the kitchen and in August we may get the bottom cupboards painted. Now if only I could motivate myself into actually starting the Spring Cleaning. Soon... I promise myself soon. If only I would stop getting all these colds! But I can't wait to start on the Garden this year especially since the next door neighbours seem to have already started on theirs. Oh and yes their kids still come over everyday...right now they are in the kitchen drawing.
