Post Cleaning Euphoria

1. I made Carrot Spice Muffins
2. I made bread in the bread machine (or tried to since it was discovered that the machine did not work properly - booo! so no Bread)
3. I did the dishes
4. I did the cat litter
5. I did some laundry
6. I took a shower
7. I helped entertain the kids from next door (yes we have new neighbours!)

The family that is renting the house next door is from Germany and they have four kids. The oldest is in high school, then the next one is in Grade 5, then Grade 3 and then the youngest the boy is in Grade One. Yes the eldest 3 kids are all girls and the two youngest are in the same classes as my two oldest. The youngest is the only boy and he is spoiled because he expects everyone to help him all the time. But I don't mind he is nice enough and B from Newfoundland may have competition for Smiles' affection. Well only because L is here and B is not but Smiles' still talks about B and how much she likes him so L may be disappointed. She was kinda shocked when l hugged her the other day. Oh well they have only been here for a week and a half and the youngest two for some reason have been over for here for about half that time. L really likes it when I make Muffins.

The only thing I don't like is that they have 3 really large dogs. Still they are not too bad since they stay in the yard and just bark when people go past. Smiles' is still afraid of dogs and this doesn't help any. Sigh.

Bear has been grounded but it is kinda hard to keep him from playing with the neighbour kids when they are over. On Saturday he went over to a friends house and did not phone us when he got there. That is the main rule when he goes over to a friends house. This way we know he has arrived there safe and we also have the phone number in case we need to call them. He left the number beside the computer without telling anyone and never called. 5pm came and went. 6pm came and went. 7pm came and we got worried. Since we couldn't find the phone number we couldn't call and supper of course was made and eaten and waiting for him. So eventually I went for a walk. I had the rough idea of where the friend's house was and since I knew what their car looked like I was hoping it would be parked in front of their house. Luck was with me and I found the house and dragged him home. He had already eaten supper so he was sent to bed when he got home after I had a long talk with him. I did not take away the Wii or Computer time but he is not allowed to have friends over or go to a friends house for a week. I am hoping he understands why this is a big deal to us.

Anyways other than that I had a good Sunday and today I think was also a good day so far. Raven and I are changing our swim nights to Monday instead of Tuesdays. Her husband and babysitter are rescheduling some things and this was easier for all of us.
