Both my Hubby and Bear are at home right now when they actually should be elsewhere. Hubby at work and Bear at school. What could keep these two energy filled beings from their designated destinations? Why the very lack of energy caused by (drum roll please) sickness! At least Bear didn't throw up last night. Not a very comforting sound to hear from your Hubby. Bear was supposed to go skating today but obviously that is not going to happen now. I was going to take Smiles(my daughter) and go shopping today but with Bear home that changes everything.
I was also supposed to be hosting a friend today for coffee, right about now. But as things usually go in my world, I can not get a hold of her. She has a lot of driving to do in the morning between husband and getting kids to various schools. I don't have her cell phone number, eep. Though I am not sure if she knows where my new house is and am hoping she'll call me before coming over. I did leave a message on her home machine but I don't know when she'll hear it.
Sigh, Star if for some reason you read this before checking your phone- it is not that I do want to do coffee with you it is merely that once again the fates are conspiring to lead our planned meeting(s) astray. Too bad they don't lead other things astray for us!
Of course it could be that things got so hectic for Star that she forgot or had a migraine come on(I read your blog) and is not up for coffee either. So either way, give me a call and we'll talk.
